Q. My car was towed. How do I get it back? If the Sherman Police Department had the vehicle towed, you will need to know when and where it was towed from. Contact the Sherman Police Department at (903) 892-7290. The dispatcher on duty can tell you the respective tow facility. You will then need to contact the tow facility to ascertain the amount owed. You must show proof of ownership and liability insurance before the vehicle can be released.
